Wildernest, Thekkady

A 10 room bed and breakfast property sandwiched between two large resorts in a 1200 sq.m tiny property which was almost a waste dumping place, Wildernest still remains one of Inspiration’s favourite projects.

A large jackfruit tree almost in the middle of the site beckoned us to nurture her and the resort evolved around her with 10 spacious rooms each with its unique shape, features and levels and a compact multipurpose space as Reception, Dining and Lounge.

Built with a combination of local random stone masonry, exposed brick masonry, RCC filler slabs and tiled roofs with colourful terracotta and polished oxide with wood for interiors. Visitors from over the world have appreciated its quaint charm and attention to details.
