CDD Society has been named as the winner of the 2022 Barry & Marie Lipman Family Prize. Built in India in 2002, this office building uses 70-80% less steel than a typical building like it and makes wide use of bamboo. There are ecologically sensitive features in this building, such as a rainwater catchment pond, and an anaerobic natural wastewater treatment system.
