Ananya, Trivandrum

Among our clients who have become special friends and well-wishers of Inspiration, Ananya was designed and built for a family who have travelled and lived in different parts of the world, who had an amazing collection of art and artifacts from around the world - yet who wanted to settle down in a quiet outskirt of Thiruvananthapuram city in a spacious house within a spacious piece of land.

Passionate about gardening, the design brief was to get maximum natural  lighting, ventilation and views of the garden for all spaces.  Another unique experience for us in Ananya was that it was the ‘man of the house’ who is an amazing cook who gave us the briefing for the Kitchen and spaces as against 99% other projects where the kitchen is the ‘woman’s domain’!

The house has a combination of exposed stone and brick masonry, polished terracotta floors, rich wood work and carefully designed spaces to accommodate the large collection of artworks.
